Volume 14, Issue 4, P280-284, August 01, 2016

Leadership core competencies of a continuously learning health system include the effective use of big data, big data analytics, and big data tools to drive system improvement. Developing and maintaining these core competencies in nursing is a growing challenge for chief nurse executives (CNEs), who often serve as key leaders in designing and implementing enterprise improvement strategies in operations, patient experience, safety, and quality.
