Abstract: By an agreement between the International Council of Nurses (ICN) and SNOMED international the International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP) is incorporated within SNOMED CT from October 2021. The future of these arrangements and how the agreement will work in terms of the future availability of ICNP nursing content in SNOMED CT will be discussed and the advantages the agreement will bring to nursing practice globally, nationally, and locally and the importance of all nurses working together in having data and information from nursing.
